The Project Brief & Development Challenge

Founded by Clément, Maxime, and Benoît, BC Properties is an independent, highly exclusive agency specializing in sales, rentals, and off-market properties within Monaco. The engineering challenge was to build a bulletproof WordPress infrastructure capable of automatically syncing with their 3rd-party real estate software via complex APIs, while simultaneously powering a lightning-fast search engine and a fully custom interactive client portal.

The Custom WordPress Admin Ecosystem

To give the agency total control, I didn’t just use standard WordPress; I re-architected the WP Admin itself. I engineered a custom administrative hub that serves as the agency’s primary command center. This hub automatically ingests and normalizes massive payloads from their 3rd-party real estate software. Beyond data syncing, I customized the administrative UI to allow the team to manage property statuses, monitor incoming viewing requests, and review submitted offers—all from a streamlined, bespoke interface that hides the complexity of the underlying database.

API Pipeline & Data Synchronization

The heaviest lifting occurred behind the scenes. I developed a custom data synchronization engine that routinely connects to the 3rd-party real estate API. This system parses massive payloads of data, automatically creating, updating, or removing properties within the WordPress database. I also engineered a script that seamlessly pulls high-resolution images from external servers, processes them into web-optimized formats, and attaches them to the correct listings locally, ensuring the website remains incredibly fast regardless of the volume of content.

Frontend Portal & Client Interaction

Beyond the listings, I built a bespoke, secure frontend user dashboard. Clients can create accounts to curate their own digital portfolios—adding, saving, and sharing their favorite Monaco listings. I integrated advanced communication modules directly into the listing pages, enabling users to request private property viewings or securely submit direct offers, creating a frictionless bridge between digital browsing and real-world luxury transactions.
